In 1909 the membership was 695.  The clubhouse includes bowling alleys, pool & billiard tables and a collection of paintings.  It is generally considered a Democratic organization but  is not that in the exact sense.  Republican friends are always made welcome and are permitted to freely join in discussions of municipal or State interest.  Features of the social life of the Kruegers are their annual excursions, involving usually a fortnight's trip, their receptions and their annual banquet.
