Frederick A. Lehlbach
- September 11, 1875

Rev. Frederick A. Lehlbach was a well known German pastor who joined the revolutionary forces in Germany. He was caught and sentenced to a fifteen years in prison. He escaped his sentence and fled to Newark, New Jersey. Once in Newark, he became pastor of the Evangelical Protestant Church at 48 Mulberry Street.

On June 1, 1866, Rev Lehlbach accepted the role of president of the German Hospital Association.
