The Felix Fuld Court project was opened for occupancy in January 1942 and was fully occupied by May of that year.  One half of the project, 150 dwelling units are devoted to low income families and the other 150 units are occupied by war workers and their families.  Thirteen percent of the families in the project were migrants.  The project is occupied by 299 families and approximately 1,198 persons.  Forty-one percent are under the age of 15.  Forty-eight percent of the project consists of African-Americans with the majority of the rest being Jewish.
