Dr. Abraham Coles Washington Park Images

The bust of Dr. Abraham Coles is made in bronze and is at the north apex of Washington Park.  Designed by J. Q. A. Ward, It commemorates a poet, physician and philanthropist.  A bronze tablet on the granite pedestal has the text of Dr. Coles's verses, "The Rock of Ages."  The base is a boulder with "Plymouth Rock" carved into the southern face.
